- Partner closely with the other analytics function teams—including Sales & Marketing, Claims, and Service—as the advanced-analytics resource on the more complex, specialized projects that arise within their functions.
- Build out comprehensive monitoring frameworks that provide insights around current results and trends. Leverage these findings to provide recommendations on both product and strategy that will have positive impacts on growth, retention, and profitability.
- Independently conduct analysis of current countrywide programs to understand and quantify the success of the program while identifying areas of opportunity for future enhancements related to growth and profitability.
- Architect end-to-end analytical frameworks for complex, multi-faceted business issues, including the development and refinement of predictive models where appropriate.
- Proactively identify systemic process and data gaps across the insurance lifecycle, mapping out the ripple effects and trade-offs of proposed solutions.
- Consistently demonstrate curiosity by proposing new ideas for analysis and leveraging the resulting insights to show alignment with or opportunities within current and future strategies.
- Conduct competitor research using various tools and sources to keep a proactive pulse on industry results and trends that could inform internal decisions.
- Serve as a technical leader across the analytics team, providing guidance and raising the analytical floor through collaboration, using advanced influencing and storytelling skills to shape business decisions.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of experience & background in insurance products, preferably personal lines property and/or auto insurance products.
